The journey of Jameya Qasemia began in 1976 in Gabtoli, Narsingdi Sadar. By grace of Almighty, 2026 marks the historic 50th anniversary. I recall with profound respect those who stood firmly by me during our foundational years — Haji Modhu Bhuiya, Haji Abed Ali, Mr. Rustam Ali Ashrafi, A.K.M. Zainal Abedin, and Jobed Ali Bhuiya. The pivotal contribution of the then Saudi Ambassador Fuad Abdul Hamid Al-Khatib remains etched in history. As I find myself in the twilight of my life, I pray the Almighty grants strength to the Jameya Qasemia Alumni Association to foster powerful unity and social welfare. Ameen.

After years of dormancy, fueled by sincere aspirations of former students, a new era began during the Eid Reunion on March 27, 2026. Over 250 alumni formed a 21-member Convening Committee through a democratic process. Our primary focus: drafting a robust Constitution, Member Registration, and organizing a formal election for full Executive Committee. The journey is significant, time limited, but we remain steadfast. We seek your wholehearted cooperation and support to honor our roots and serve our community.

On March 27, 2026, a 21-member Convening Committee was democratically formed. I am humbled as Member Secretary. Milestones achieved: preliminary constitution approved, 9-member Advisory Council, 5-member Election Commission, and a General Council with representatives from each batch. Our mission: complete registration of alumni network, direct election, and prepare for Grand Alumni Reunion & 50th Anniversary.
